Ohio's freeze and thaw finds every shortcut in the base. We excavate to depth, compact in lifts and drain behind every wall. The surface is the last ten percent of the job.

Excavation and compacted base
We dig to full depth and compact dense grade aggregate in lifts. The base is where freeze and thaw wins or loses.
Drainage behind the wall
Clean stone, drain tile and proper backfill keep water pressure from pushing retaining walls out of line.
Cut edges and restraint
Saw cut borders and heavy duty edge restraint keep paver patios tight at the perimeter for years.
Polymeric sand and finish
Joints are swept, set and cleaned so the patio still looks right after its first few Ohio winters.
